Paul Mukai, PT, started his career as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer before receiving his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Mount St. Mary’s College in 2000. Since graduating he has focused his practice on general orthopedic rehab. In 2006 he started his own practice in Fresno, CA, which specialized in the treatment of back and neck pain, an interest that he continues to have today. After closing his practice in 2011, Paul has taken on two Director positions, one in Los Angeles, CA and more recently in Portland, OR from NW Primary Care. Paul’s influences include Gray Cook, PT, who is best known for the Functional Movement Screen; Kelly Starrett, PT, who is best known for his involvement in Crossfit’s Mobility WOD and author of “Becoming a Supple Leopard”; and Pete Egoscue of the Egoscue Method. Paul is currently pursuing a board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
